Brian - I believe many people's use is slightly different than you describe. What we need is a way for separate e-mails with our information plus the customer's information to be sent to product specific e-mails. However, instead of sending the entire order, only send those product(s) which have that same secondary e-mail (2EM).
So, if someone ordered a set of golf clubs with no 2EM, some golf balls and a golf bag both with the same 2EM, and some club covers with a completely different 2EM, three e-mails would be created: One to us with everything, a second one to the company listing only the golf balls and bag, and a third e-mail showing only the golf club covers.
Important Note: It would be of great benefit to also have a "Secondary E-mail Comment" field added and sent as a part of the e-mail. It could contain info such as: "Charge our Account #6789" or "Send confirmation e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org", etc.Laughlin Consulting supported this idea ·
@Michael Valiant - With your recent GUI interface update, there is now plenty of space for a Secondary E-mail on the Products->Settings tab under the "Affiliates" box. The XML interface is cumbersome and you already have the Secondary E-mail code on an order basis. Adding this field would help tremendously!
Have you thought about creating a *Standard* Bundle that includes your main study course plus a second product with an initial price of $0.00 with the recurring price and frequency options set as you want?
If you want the recurring product conditional on them purchasing the main product (e.g. a special promotion), make the main product the "Primary" product in the bundle. That way, if they try to delete the main product, it will notify them that they will also delete the recurring product?
Note that this functionality is only available with *Standard* Bundles. Advanced Bundles do not have a Primary product option - they are treated as one complete "pseudo-product".

Under Cart Options, there is a Yes/No option to "Show Coupon/Promotional Code Field:". It's a possible start!
Great idea! We love 1SC; however, because of a lack of this feature, many of our larger clients have used much more expensive solutions or had to have custom software developed. Any status on this request???
