I agree. The entire refund system needs to be revamped. In addition to the above, if I refund any items before shipping (eg. customer changed their mind) and then print out the 'invoice' or 'packing slip', it doesn't mention anything about the refunds there - how is our picker/packer supposed to know not to send these items?
Agree with "Patriotic Flags" below. I have had to add a statement to our checkout page letting Canadian customers know that they will be charged shipping separately and won't be getting the free shipping that US customers will be getting. If the Canadian customer doesn't select 'ship to Canada' price, I then have to bill the customer or email then and wait for a response allowing us to charge the shipping fee separately. It just isn't efficient and doesn't look good on us as a business.
There is another 'Big Ideas' item which has the same issue, so casting your votes to it and closing this would give the issue a better rank. It is called "allow multiple shipping methods, at same time " Cheers!
We have an automatic 'free standard shipping' option with any over over $75. Unfortunately, this means that those customers who want to purchase over $75, but want to expedite the shipping, cannot do so. Having the ability to choose a shipping option over and above the automatic free shipping threshold would be AB-FAB!!!!!
Totally agree. We sometimes need to be able to enter 'internal' notes to an order record. As with Larry, we would like to be able to add a personal note to the tracking order email too...
