It doesn't matter if you assign SKU's to the first option anyway, as you can't report out SALES BY SKU. If you look at the inventory reports or the sales by item reports, they are actually reporting by the internally generated Product ID, which is the product without any options. Same for the "inventory control". SKU's have no relevance anywhere. That assigning SKU's business is just some so-called software engineer's incomplete, incompetent effort.

SO, a year ago when I reorganized my product line in the shopping cart from 20 products down to a more comprehensible 6 products with options and assigned SKU's to the product option values, little did I realize a year later I wouldn't be able to pull my sales data out of the database to forecast the coming Christmas season.

I suggested some sort of fix back in March: "Sales Reports or Analytics Reports needs SALES BY SKU" So far NADA....

There's no "certified" email.. Emails evaporate, get lost in spam filters or just hide in plain sight.

Yes, exactly. The mere existence of a possible discount (not even one qualified for) will ace out the coupon because of "not to be combined", pretty much making that feature useless. Of course this is so obtuse that you'd never figure it out without customer support explaining it to you. Discounts should either be removed from counting as a combined offer entirely if it is too difficult to only count it when it is actually applied.

It'd be nice to have the customizing ability extended on the packing slip, too. There's unused space on that paper I'd like to use without applying a label or adding other slips of paper.

NPC is the merchant account processor, not the gateway (at least it was that way a year ago).

I don't know about FedEx, but it would be nice if 1shoppingcart would talk to UPS WorldShip.

This is a problem becasue it can adversley affect the shipping or sales tax calculations. The customer likely selects the state correctly in the drop down but moving the mouse scroll wheel changes the state if they haven't clicked somewhere else first - even when the drop down has closed. It can't be considered a very good interface judging by the hundreds of those errors I've seen.

Which also brings up the issue of an any amount refund. If the cart isn't used to keep inventory, it can be used to keep dollar amounts accurate. What of a partial refund on shipping? Or something else. The all or nothing refund just doesn't do it.
