It's sitting here with 128 votes...and still nothing has been done.
It's unbelievably frustrating posting ideas here, only and watch nothing get done for years.
NO updates from responsible 1SC managers. Nothing
I have people abandoning the cart all because the 1SC system requires the 'Address' and 'Phone' Number' as mandatory fields.
Prospects hate giving those personal detail, particularly when they are not needed
This is insane...particularly if you sell 'digital' products
I am experiencing an increasing cart abandonment problem, due to one factor…
It has to do with the 'required' fields’ on the order form.
I have more and more people objecting to being FORCED to give their ‘Address’ and ‘Phone’ number on the order form..... particularly when they are only ordering a 'digital' product
Today, people are very concerned about their privacy and security, and when they see no purpose in giving unnecessary ‘personal’ details (particularly when the product is a ‘digital’ product) they are choosing not to order.
That's how strongly they fell about it
Of course I realise you have to have the fields such as ‘Address’ for your members who sell ‘physical’ products.
But even then, the ‘Phone’ field should always be optional (NOT MANDATORY)
where is this on the list to do?
It's 5 years....it must top of the list now
I thinks this function is absolutely critical.
Cart abandonment is a massive issue.
And ‘Robert’, don’t feel too bad about waiting a ‘year’ to get anything done about this…
I’ve been waiting over 4 years for 1SC to totally revamp their whole form creation process (which belongs back in the 1990’s) and I’m still waiting for anyone to even acknowledge that this has even been looked at
why should we have to edit the code manually to do this open the redirect in a new window?
This should have been a basic choice function we can set when designing the Web Form
This is a long overdue function
I have exactly the same situation, and I agree 1000%.
It's the MAJOR reasons from cart abandonment for me. And it's costing me money, which angers me.
Fixing this should be top of the list priority.
And from my perspective, it's an easy programming fix.
The problem outline by Sea Breeze Digital Publishing should have been fixed long ago.
Rounding to at least the nearest .5% is essential for the numbers to be credible.
It's 3 years and nothing has been done about this??

I agree with all that being set up
I agree. We have to do everything possible to stop cart abandonment and we need more design flexibility for the 'SUBMIT ORDER 'like adding your own images for a button
We are planning to introduce a brand new custom form builder directly into the system that will allow you to create Wordpress compatible forms. The plug-in for WP will not be updated during this project, but our hope is that it will no longer be necessary with the new form builder we will introduce.
Should this still be listed in 'Under Review'
The new web form builder was done back in August?
Great idea. A big time saver
If you generate a web form using the new system, and you want to change the AR ID or the redirect URL, you CAN'T do that (as you could with the 'old' form code).
If you want to change ANYTHING in the new form code, you can't....you have to regenerate a complete new web form.
The 'Get Code' function will give the full form code, but you still CANNOT edit the AR ID or the redirect URL because those options are cloaked within the code.
This definitely needs to be implemented now
To get a form to signup to multiple AR's I have to use the 'old' form code and then edit the code myself
It should be basic stuff allowing multiple AR signups
This is an excellent suggestion. We will investigate what we can do to improve this.

Yes...I would totally agree that this type of function is LONG overdue.
Only having the option to use the 'default' signature that was set up when the account was set up is useless.
You should be able to have 'customized signatures' based on a product basis
I totally agree there is a definite need for this type of function.
Like me there are many members who have multiple AR’s (campaigns) set up
I presently have 63.
For each campaign I have web forms on all my different websites.
Contacts are added to a specific AR depending on the web site and form they fill out
On your main page, your system only lists ‘New Contact Today’ and gives a TOTAL number of ALL contacts who have signed up on a given day from ALL my forms on all my different websites.
This is very frustrating because I need to know how many contacts were added to each individual Campaign (AR) for a given period (per day etc)
To try to find out that data, it takes about 30 minutes to do manually because I have to go through each of the 63 AR’s using the ‘Contacts’ > Search, Edit, then click and AR to then see if there are new signup for that AR.
I have to do that 63 times.
A function that will provide a simple and quick way where I can search for and find out how many optins subscribed to each specific AR on any given day

The codes generated by the Web Form MUST be compatible and be able to be integrated with other 3rd party function.
At the moment it does not.
Aweber codes integrate without issue, so why can't the Web Form code in 1SC?
Someone should have made sure of this capability right from the start of development
