Merchant Services requires proof of policy acceptance on recurring orders in order to contest chargebacks.

Merchant services are now requiring proof of policy acceptance on recurring orders during checkout.

This proof needs to go beyond the basic buyer acceptance box that the cart currently employs where nothing is actually captured and carried to order details area of or any other area where it can be viewed and printed once captured at checkout.

This is necessary as actual proof that the customer checked the box next to terms during checkout and can be shown to merchant services in the event of a chargeback.

Without this function we have no way to contest any future chargebacks on recurring orders.

We think that the function is long overdue, especially today's online environment.

Within the "Cart Options" section of Setup, you have the option of not only enabling the buyer acceptance policy, but requiring that the Customer accepts it. Further, there is a separate section tailored to recurring products that can be enabled as well; it will explicitly state the terms of the recurring payment.

If this does not entirely meet your needs, please be very specific in telling us where the feature(s) may be lacking, and provide more detail on what needs to be changed or added to meet your specific needs.
