  1. Prevent a "past date" from being entered in a "future date" field

One of our customers had an issue with updating their recurring order. The customer needed to update the expiration date for their credit card. The correct expiration year was 2021. The system saved the year as 1921. The customer is quite certain that they did not enter 1921 and they believed that they were only given a two digit option for the year, and that the system defaulted to 1921. This, of course, caused the next transaction to decline, but there was no feedback for the customer to know where the problem was with the information. In reviewing her record…

  2. Merchant Services requiring proof of policy acceptance on recurring orders in order to contest chargebacks.

Merchant services are now requiring proof of policy acceptance on recurring orders during checkout.

This proof needs to go beyond the basic buyer acceptance box that the cart currently employs where nothing is actually captured and carried to order details area of or any other area where it can be viewed and printed once captured at checkout.

This is necessary as actual proof that the customer checked the box next to terms during checkout and can be shown to merchant services in the event of a chargeback.

Without this function we have no way to contest any future chargebacks on…

  3. Add Visa/MasterCard AUTO UPDATER for Recurring Orders

Visa Card Updater can update customers' card details when the customer's card has expired or when they have lost their card and been issued a new one.

It would be really useful and bring in a lot more custom if 1Shopping Cart implemented this feature with Visa and also Mastercard who offer this facility so that we can easily update customers' details in bulk without having to contact them individually or them having to contact us individually. Many other shopping carts such as CyberSource already have this and as 1ShoppingCart is better, please add this functionality too.

  4. Have a "Same Date--Annual" renewal.

Have a "Same Date--Annual" renewal. With the current 365 day setting, leap year is going to cause 1000 customers card to run a day early next year.

  5. Flexible recurring payment set up

Recurring payments are the backbone many businesses revenues.

Using 1SC with Paypal however, we are locked into products having only one setting for recurring payments.

We would like a set up such that "Payment Schedules" for recurring payments have two tiers.

For example, from one product we would like to be able to charge:

3 payments of $99 (every 30 days), then have that lead into…

9 payments of $19 (every 30 days) once the first run has complete.

This one feature would allow us to greatly expand what we're doing, and I'm sure many other 1SC users.

  6. Recurring Order Cancelation Emails and/or Report

With the ability to have your customers view their own accounts and cancel recurring billing, there really should be a daily email or at the very least a report to run that shows when a customers cancels. If there recurring order is tied to a membership of some sort, we all probably need to do something after they cancel to remove their ability to access the product. If we don't know who is canceling this is impossible. Would be great to get an auto email every time someone cancels so we can then process any other admin tasks. Thanks!

  7. Allow one product to be both charge as fixed price OR recurring for payment plan

It would be fantastic if you could make it possible to make one product be either fixed price OR recurring to take payment plans.

As it is now, you have to create two separate products with two different shopping carts (unless you get a developer to custom code the shopping card), one of them that sends them to the fixed price offer, and the other with the payment plan offer.

Why can't you code it so that the customer can go to the same shopping cart page and easily choose between the full fixed price vs. monthly payments?

    It seems…

  8. Add the 'Amount' or 'Total' option to merge codes. Most customers want to know what the attempted amount was.

The merges codes for recurring billing need to include an option for the amount or total of the attempted charge. This is our most common question from customers after receiving the declined auto-response. It would help tremendously to have this feature, as many customers forget how much they paid the first time (1 year later).

  9. Allow start date for recurring payments

I set up customized recurring billing for customers for X dollars for X times, AFTER their initial down-payment. It would be great to add a "start date" for the recurring charges. For instance $500 paid without the shopping cart already, $100/mo x 5 months gets set up in recurring billing to start on a certain date.

  10. Combine Monthly Recurring option with Delay Payment Option

Currently, if you delay a payment by a certain amount of days, you can only choose the recurring charges to be set every certain amount of days, ie. 30 or 31 days if you wish to charge monthly. But that doesn't work because months have varying amounts of days. 1shopping cart already created a monthly charge option that charges on the same day of every month, but that update needs to be combined with the payment options where we need to delay the first charge.

  11. Delay first charge and set future charges on a certain day of the month not by a certain amount of days

The charge by day of the month was released in 2011, but it isn't compatible when we need to delay a payment by a certain amount of days. We prefer our customers to enroll early, but they only want the payments to start a few months down the road. It doesn't make sense for us to charge them every 30 or 31 days. We need to be able to delay a payment and choose to charge monthly. Please combine those two features. Both are already developed separately, so it shouldn't be too much additional work.

  12. Allow recurring payment products to be created in PayPal as Installment Plans rather than recurring payments

Currently, when a recurring payment product is created, it results in the creation of a recurring payment plan on the PayPal side when the buyer pays with PayPal. The problem with PayPal recurring payments is that they can be cancelled by the buyer. If the product I'm selling is delivered to the client up front, this is not desirable. It leaves open the possiblity that customers can get out of their payments. 1SC should offer the option to have recurring payments be created as Installment Plans in PayPal, which cannot be unilaterally cancelled by the buyer.

  13. Allow recurring orders to be searched for by company.

Allow recurring orders to be search by company, not just a person's name or email. When displaying recurring order results, please bring back recurring order price and a direct link to the billing history. the most recent updates have made navigating and operating recurring orders far more difficult.

  14. Batch edit recurring payments

If the number of recurring payments needs to change for all orders, you have to go in and manually change the number of payments to be made. For instance, if a mistake was made and the recurring payments are set to an "unlimited" amount of recurring charges when it should have been only 2, every order that was made prior to changing the the setting on the product still has to be updated manually. It would be helpful to be able to do this in one batch.

  15. Cvv2

Some european customers must have their CVV2 confirmed for reach transaction they make.

Which means if we have a recurring billing, it only works initially, and then they're unable to be charged again through the recurring system.

Please add a CVV2 update field to the update CC info. function and fix the bug that makes it so these people can't get charged again.

  17. Allow for a SKU/Product change to be made in the customer's recurring order.

Customer is on recurring billing for Product A. Company makes an enhancement to the product, and it now becomes Product B and is a higher price.

It would be great if the customer could be transitioned to this new product, through their recurring order edit, without their having to cancel Product A and place a new order for Product B.

Perhaps in the Recurring Edit (at the order level) there be additional fields added to change a SKU as well as the price.

  18. Have an option where we can select a monthly billing date (ex. 1st, 15th, 25th)

Really need the option for recurring products to have a choice where we can select a monthly billing date (ex. 1st, 15th, 25th) but the option to also do this on an existing recurring event to switch it from 30 days to specific date.

  19. For the recurring order list page

On the recurring order pages, there's no indication of how many products or the total amount that is charged for each recurring order listed. Could those amounts be listed on that page?

For our business, we don't want clients to order more than 1 of each different item that is recurring. We see each item listed, but we have no idea the quantity that on the recurring payment. As it is, every month we have to go through each separate item on the list and click on "Edit" to see the quantity. As more and more items appear on that…

  20. Allow my product with options to also be recurring. Now I have to enter as three separate products vs. one product with three options.
